The BE-5051 Ice Melting Unit handles the ice generated during the de-icing process—melting it quickly and hygienically through a recirculated hot water system.
Ice from salmon processing contains fish residue and cannot simply be left to melt on its own: it takes up valuable floor space, creates hygiene challenges, and in many facilities is subject to disposal regulations.
The BE-5051 solves this automatically, with no operator required. It is the only dedicated ice melting solution available for salmon processing facilities.

From De-Icing to Drain. Automatically.
The BE-5051 is designed to work directly with the BE-5001 De-Icing Inline Platform. Ice from the de-icing process enters the unit, where recirculated hot water—supplied at 40°C via a heat exchanger or boiler—melts the ice through a heat exchanger in the tank. The meltwater drains from the system automatically, with no manual intervention required.
