This privacy notification describes how Beritech Group ("Beritech", "we", "us") processes your personal data. It applies to Beritech A/S and all companies within the Beritech Group.

Beritech A/S is the data controller for the personal data we process about visitors to our website, clients, suppliers, and other contacts.

Why we process your personal data

When you contact us

When you reach out to us by email or through a contact form, we process your contact details (name, email address, phone number) in order to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling your inquiry (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Your data is deleted when it is no longer relevant for the purpose for which it was collected.

When you are a client or supplier

When you enter into an agreement with us for the delivery of services or products, we process your contact details (name, address, email address, phone number) and, where relevant, your company registration number and payment details. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligation to retain accounting records (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).

We retain contract-related data for up to five years after the end of the client relationship in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Lov nr. 700 af 24. maj 2022). We retain contact information for up to one year after the end of the relationship for follow-up purposes.

When you visit our website

When you visit our website, we process technical data about your visit in order to display the website correctly and enable its features. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a functional website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

When you have given consent for marketing

If you have given your consent, we may send you emails about our services, news, and offers. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

What data we process

Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

• Phone number
• Email address
• Company registration number
• Payment details
• Other ordinary categories of personal data

We only process personal data that you provide to us directly. We do not obtain personal data about you from third parties.

Data processors and international transfers

We use data processors for certain services, including Microsoft 365 for communication and business operations. All data processors are bound by data processing agreements in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Some of our data processors operate outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers are carried out on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards, ensuring your personal data remains protected in accordance with EU data protection law.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to our processing of your personal data:

Right of access: You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process personal data about you and to receive a copy of that data.

Right to rectification: You have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you corrected.

Right to erasure: In certain circumstances, you have the right to have your personal data deleted ahead of our standard deletion schedule.

Right to restriction: In certain circumstances, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, including processing for direct marketing purposes.

Right to data portability: In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have it transferred to another controller.
