Henrik Pape becomes new CEO of Beritech Group – owner Bent Larsen continues as COO
Henrik Pape takes up the position of CEO of Beritech Group on 1 September 2026. The group's owner and founder, Bent Larsen, continues in the management team as COO, responsible for operations and the group's supply chain. The ambition is a clearer direction and a stronger commercial grip on the business.
Henrik Pape has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to create concrete improvements in the companies he has been part of. He joins most recently from a position as CEO of DC-Supply and has previously held both CFO and CEO roles. He brings a solid financial foundation combined with a sharp commercial eye.
Henrik Pape takes over the CEO role in a group of companies characterized by high engagement, strong cohesion and a strong culture. It is a solid foundation to build on.
For Henrik Pape, the task is about combining the best of two worlds.
”My task is to live up to Beritech's values while being clear in my leadership and in the direction we have set. Clarity and direction are especially important in a world marked by unpredictability. And we need to combine a sharper commercial mindset with the strong values that already exist at Beritech,” says Henrik Pape, incoming CEO of Beritech Group.
Bent Larsen explains the background to the decision.
”The past year has been marked by unpredictability and significantly changed market conditions in one of our primary segments. We are taking that learning with us across the group, but I am also taking a personal lesson from it. I have been wearing too many hats at once, so it makes good sense to strengthen and expand the top management, allowing us to act faster and more commercially. At the same time, with Henrik on board, I get more time to be out in the organization, close to operations and our people, which I have missed,” says Bent Larsen, owner and COO of Beritech Group.
The choice of Henrik Pape is no coincidence. Bent Larsen and Henrik Pape know each other from a previous collaboration, and that weighed heavily in the decision. With his ability to bring complex projects safely to completion and a sharp eye for project economics, Henrik Pape will help strengthen the commercial grip on the business.
For Bent, this is not about stepping down as owner-manager.
”I am stepping slightly to the side, but I am not going anywhere. I remain the owner and fully committed to Beritech. We will change how the entire business is led and managed, and Henrik and I have worked closely together before. Our differences are a strength,” he adds.
Beritech Group consists of several companies and takes on assignments across industries. It is precisely that diversity that makes the group resilient to fluctuations and changing market conditions. The breadth lies both in the industries the group serves and in the types of projects it can handle. Even though one of the group's largest segments was affected over the past year, Beritech Group ended 2025 with an overall profit in the group accounts. The group today looks at a solid pipeline across segments. And with a strengthened management team and a broad business, the foundation is in place for the next phase of Beritech's development.
