Beritech acquires Carsoe Liquid Tanks
Going forward, tank design and production will once again be offered within Beritech, as part of Carsoe’s activities is being acquired - specifically the Carsoe Liquid Tanks division.
This marks the fourth expansion since the Beritech name was reinstated, and this time the move into tank design and production is far from unfamiliar territory. Tank solutions were the original business area under the Beritech name from 1995 to 2011.
In 2011, Beritech merged with Carsoe, after which the tank segment became known as Carsoe Liquid Tanks.
Beritech’s very first delivery consisted of two 5,000-liter cream tanks for Hobro Dairy in 1995, one of which is still in operation. Pictured here is a Beritech tank delivered to Nørager Dairy in the 1990s, which also remains in operation today.
Beritech name reinstated.
The Beritech name was reinstated when Danish Laser Technology was acquired and renamed in the autumn of 2020. Since then, Beritech has undergone continuous expansion.
What the companies within Beritech share is that they operate across the entire value chain, enabling participation in projects from the early advisory phase through manufacturing, installation, and delivery. The tank segment is therefore a natural acquisition within the strategy.

Carsoe Liquid Tanks designs and manufactures stainless steel tanks - both as standalone tanks and as large, complex systems. Process and silo tanks are supplied primarily to the dairy industry, but the expertise and solutions are applicable to many other sectors. The customer base includes leading dairies in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden—such as Arla and Tine.

A separate company within Beritech Group - With strong synergies.
The acquisition entails the establishment of a new company within Beritech Group, Beritech Stainless Steel Tanks, with Bent Larsen appointed as CEO.
Beritech Stainless Steel Tanks will, like the other companies in the Beritech Group, operate as an independent entity within its specific market segment, while also collaborating with Solutions and Manufacturing through the sharing of knowledge and competencies.

Bent Larsen does not rule out further acquisitions. He emphasizes that the different segments within Beritech must complement each other in both competencies and self-awareness:

It is our ambition to continue adding attractive companies that contribute positively to our market position while also expanding the solutions we offer our customers.”
Facts.
The acquisition takes effect on July 1, 2021. As part of the agreement, employees and ongoing customer contracts in Carsoe Liquid Tanks are transferred to Beritech. After the acquisition, Beritech employs a total of 71 people.
