Beritech Group Acquires OP Stål

OP Stål is an ISO-certified fabrication company founded in Ringsted, Denmark in 1986. With nearly four decades in the industry, around 60 employees and 1,800 m² of production facilities, they deliver solutions in stainless steel, carbon steel, prefabrication, welding, assembly and surface treatment, including one of Denmark's largest pickling and electropolishing facilities.

From Collaboration to Acquisition

We know each other well. OP Stål and Beritech have worked side by side on projects for shared clients over several years. It is through that collaboration that we came to know each other and to recognise that we share the same approach to craftsmanship and to our clients.

OP Stål continues as an independent company under its own name, with Niels Olsen and Knud Svendsen at the helm. Existing client agreements and ways of working remain unchanged. For OP Stål's clients, day-to-day collaboration continues as normal.

What this acquisition brings is capacity and backing. OP Stål gains access to an organisation of 550+ employees across locations in Denmark and abroad, with stronger resources in quality assurance, documentation and technical support, enabling OP Stål to take on projects that were previously out of reach. In return, Beritech gains an experienced team, deep craft expertise and a culture we recognise as our own.
